Lutheran Senior Services, Inc is a 501c(3) non-profit corporation founded in 1967 by Lutheran Churches in New Castle County, Delaware.

Our Stakeholders are our residents, their families, our volunteers and the community at large.

Our Mission remains:

The policy of Lutheran Senior Services, Inc. shall be to provide in Luther Towers I and II adequate, secure, safe housing for eligible persons of limited income in atmosphere of peace and dignity, with a sense of responsible community, and to provide such support services from management staff and volunteers as shall be needed to accomplish this goal.
-Adopted January 1, 1972

Supportive services available to our Independent-living residents include:

• Meal Plans


• Housekeeping services and carpet cleaning


• Transportation to banks, medical appointments and shopping


• 24 hour front desk security


• Services coordination linking residents to community-based services
